This Knowledge Industry Center (A1 Tower) is located in the Gasan digital complex in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, which is stronghold to the largest complex of SME venture companies in Korea.
The Knowledge Industry Center applied a small office module with a size of 30~40㎡ considering the demands of the station influence area, and is composed of compact floor plans with expandability.
Neighborhood living facilities on the first floor have easy access to streets, and the open space connected to the public walkway behind the building provides a pleasant rest area to users. The first basement floor of the Knowledge Industry Center is accessible for vehicles, has a sufficient floor height, and solves the disadvantages of the basement floor by placing sunken in the middle. We applied the segmented mass design in harmony with the surrounding environment and the elevation design for the high-end office image differentiated from other knowledge industry centers.
