TBN Chungbuk Transportation Broadcasting Corporation is a leading project to efficiently provide broadcasting services such as production and transmission of programs and to enhance the value of Cheongju's community. The aim of this project is to secure a pleasant and efficient building space and to express the symbolism of Cheongju Millennium Town and TBN traffic broadcasting, and to establish an economical and efficient future-oriented broadcasting station.
The concept of the design was planned as a new puzzle (T.Puzzle – TBN Puzzle) for the traffic broadcasting station through a combination of building mass pieces(Piece to Puzzle), focusing on the identity of the traffic broadcasting station and the location of the site, considering the urban context and function, and the connection and view of the adjacent family parks.
The composition of the building was designed as a machine/exhibition room on the first basement floor, an open hall and an office of the support department on the first floor, a traffic information situation room and an office of the technology and organization department on the second floor, and coordination rooms and studios on the third floor.
